Alpha Movers are experts in packing. We can come out and pack all your stuff giving you expert packers to insure all your stuff is secure. There is a proper method to every item that is packed. Our workers are properly trained in knowing how to make sure even the most fragile items are safe.
Our Method:
(All boxes are labeled by room, by who packed it, and content inside)
Bedrooms–
- Closets: packet in wardrobes (boxes with a metal hanging pole. Allowing your hung cloths to stay wrinkle free and ready to be put it there new closet.)
- Drawers, night stands, armoires, Etc.: checked for breakables, blanked and then wrapped in shrink wrap.
- Bedding, pillows, toys, decorations, small pictures, lamps, lamps shades, and miscellaneous: items are boxed. Glass items are properly wrapped in paper and are properly positioned in box. Lamp shades are boxed separately.
- Wall pictures and paintings: packet in picture boxes with plenty of padding. (Crating is available upon request)
Living Rooms, Family Rooms, Theater Rooms, ETC.-
- Couches, chairs, sofas Etc.: Wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped. This keeps leather safe from damage as well as walls from being scratched.
- TV’s: wrapped and packed properly. (Crating is available upon request)
- TV stands, coffee tables, end tables, Etc.: These items will also be wrapped in blankets and shrink wrapped. Any items that need disassembly will be taken apart with hardware labeled.
Dinning Room-
- Tables: properly disassembled and blanketed. Hardware is labeled and put into a hardware box to insure all nuts and bolts are not lost.
- Chairs: Blanketed and wrapped.
- China hutch: All glass items are properly wrapped in paper. Proper dish boxes used with lots of paper in bottom of box. Glass items are positioned safely in box. China hutch is blanketed and shrink wrapped. Cardboard is used to cover glass doors, and windows of hutch.
Kitchen-
- Glass items:(Cups, bowls, vases, plates, china, Etc.) Properly wrapped in paper and put into dish boxes. Extra paper placed in bottom of box. Dishes are properly padded and placed into box.
- Miscellaneous items:(Pots and pans, plastic items, Etc.) All cabinets emptied and boxed properly.
- Food pantry: Glass jars and breakables are properly wrapped and put into dish boxes. Rest of pantry in boxed and properly secured.
Garage and storage space-
- Totes and boxes: Are checked to insure packed safety. Labeled with what is inside and what room they are from.
- Miscellaneous items: Properly secured and packed.
- Shelving: Disassembled and packed together.
Bathrooms-
- All items are boxed properly and labeled from what room they are from.
We at Alpha Moving know how to pack everything. No item is to big or to small. Specialty items can be moved by Alpha movers with notice (Pianos, safes, grandfather clocks Etc.) Crating is available with notice.
